WHO WE ARE
All India Human Rights Organisation works for an India in which every person attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.
We work for hope that rests in our heart for equality, brotherhood and progressive society where all humans are safe and prospering, based on the human rights which should be given by government, are ensured in our constitution by leaders and protected by judiciary.
Through our path-breaking programmes designed to reach out to the most marginalised communities in India, we ensure that people get legal and social help, stay out of harm’s way and are able to unlock their true potential. We strive to ensure that the people of India and the world not only survive but also thrive and progress.
OUR APPROACH
Children, their families and the community
AIHRO believes that education is both the means as well as the end to a better life:
the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one’s rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Education is the most effective tool which helps children build a strong foundation; enabling them to free themselves from the vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty and disease.
AIHRO realised that Education for Children cannot be achieved without the family, particularly, unless the mother is assured of health care and empowered.
